Good post, especially the point about not putting your head in the sand. We have thousands of employees already in Facebook, for instance, so we want to build on that and guide it. We hope to roll out our guidelines and education process next month.

No matter how they try, companies will not be able to completely stop their employees from surfing the net while at work. You have an interesting way to capitalize on this. Loyal employees are your best marketers, so why not take advantage of their "surfing" by encouraging them to promote your business while they are at it.
